All you need is Love

In 1967, four young Scousers with questionable haircuts and cracking rhythms, sung the words ‘all you need is love’.

And they’re quite right. When you’re feeling blue, not-enough, not-worthy, or just generally in an emotional pickle; sometimes all you need is love.

We all want to feel loved, which includes being accepted and respected, for who we are. Everyone wants this. It’s fundamental to being human.

This love doesn’t have to come from an external source, in fact, the most potent love that you can receive is love that comes from a place much closer to home… from yourself.

How does it feel when you say ‘I love you’ to yourself?

Cringey? Awkward? Emotional? Painful? Strange? Insincere?

All common feelings yet loving ourselves in our entirety, for being the unique and remarkable humans that we are, is the most important thing we can do to be happy and healthy, yet so few of us do it.

So why not give it a go! Welcome everything that you are with open arms, tell yourself that you’re doing a good job, embrace your wonderful weirdness, and love yourself.
