Solstice

Winter solstice, on 21st December, marks the end of the solar year, and the beginning of the next.

The solstice has been celebrated by various cultures around the world, for millennia, as a time to reflect on the past whilst embracing what change is to come. It is a time to look at what has helped us to thrive this year with a sense of gratitude, and what has detracted from our growth and vitality with a sense of letting go.

As the Sun rises again to mark the lightening of days and hearts, let’s use the experiences of the past year to contemplate how we can be the best version of ourselves. Let’s find ways to maximise what makes us feel vibrant and alive whilst letting go of those things which are potentially a drain on our potential.

Whatever this means to you, we wish you seasons greetings, a happy solstice, and a glorious new year!
